International Association of Comparative Literature, Society and Culture (IACLSC) is an international trans-disciplinary and interdisciplinary research network of research scientists in study areas in the Arts, Design, Ecology and Environment, Humanities and Social Sciences. IACLSC research objectives are based on the theoretical and empirical research framework of the comparative and historical methodologies with qualitative and quantitative approaches which form the basis of the research studies undertaken by its members.
        IACLSC conducts joint conference, symposium, workshop, seminar, performance, festival, exhibition, interview, screening, reading session and winter school to facilitate international collaboration and network of the member artists, authors, humanists, researchers and scientists beyond borders. The IACLSC publication organizes book project and journal publication of peer reviewed scholarly research articles and monographs. The School of Folkloristics by IACLSC is a global research network in the scientific study of the ethnicity, indigeneity and orality of the indigenous communities which conducts bi-annual international folklore winter schools for capacity building in the folklore studies. IACLSC has built up an international scientific research network in the area of arts, design, ecology and environment, humanities and social sciences studies which is recognized by the Union of International Associations (UIA), Brussels, Belgium. IACLSC (International Association of Comparative Literature, Society and Culture / Association internationale de littérature comparée, société et culture / Asociación Internacional de Literature Comparada, la Sociedad y Cultura) has been endorsed in UIA Open Year Book vide UIA Org ID M5048 w.e.f. August 28, 2016 (https://uia.org/). IACLSC has conducted joint biennial conferences, workshops, seminars and folklore winter schools in collaboration with Institute of Advance Research University (Gandhinagar, 2015 and 2016), Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko (Guwahati, 2016), Indian Council of History Research (ICHR, New Delhi, 2016), Ravenshaw University (Cuttack, 2017), Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts (IGNCA, New Delhi, 2018), Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL, Mysore, 2018) and teaching and research institutions and universities in India and abroad. IACLSC has established global educational, cultural and research Trust under the Government of Odisha State (India, 2019) to carry out educational and socio-cultural contribution in envisaging sustainable society and culture by conducting of educational training and research in the multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas mentioned in its objective and mission statement with a specific focus on the study of the arts and design, comparative literature, colonialism, climate, ecology and environment, nation-state and nationalism, post-colonialism, indigenous knowledge system, popular culture, epic and folklore, orality, knowledge and technology, migration, peace and conflict, heritage conservation.
