IACLSC Membership

 

    Types of IACLSC Membership & Benefits/Opportunities:

 

(1). Honourary Membership :

 

Only on Invitation / recommendation of the IACLSC fraternity.

​

Honourary Membership of the International Association of Comparative Literature, Society and Culture (IACLSC) and the IACLSC Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies (IACLSCJIS) and IACLSC Journal of Narratives in Focus (IACLSCJNF) are conferred to the social and cultural leaders, educators, senior professors, scientists, researchers, humanists, folklorists, artists, authors, critics, translators and journalists etc. of eminence whose commitment and contribution has brought change(s) in the society and culture. Honourary members may be invited as advisers of the IACLSC.

 

(2). Life Membership :

​

Life Members may attend IACLSC Bi-Annual Board and Governance meetings. They may avail or nominate 50% reduction of the registration fee of one participant in the IACLSC international and national events, receive free print copy of the annual IACLSC Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies for the life time. Life members may publish their research findings in the IACLSC Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies (IACLSCJIS) and IACLSC Journal of Narratives in Focus (IACLSCJNF) without any publication charges. Life members may be nominated as the advisers, and as the member of the board of governors of the IACLSC.

Life Membership Fee: (a) INDIA - INR 5000.00 (Indian Rupees Five Thousands only)

                                    (b) Foreign - USD 200.00 (US Dollar Two Hundred only)

(3). Regular Membership (5 Years) :

​

Regular Members avail 50% reduction of the registration fees in the IACLSC international and national events and receive free print copy of the annual IACLSC Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies for five years. Regular Memberships are renewed after five years. Regular members may publish their research findings in the IACLSC Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies (IACLSCJIS) and IACLSC Journal of Narratives in Focus (IACLSCJNF) without any publication charges. Regular members are nominated to volunteer for the IACLSC.

Regular Membership Fee: (a) INDIA - INR 2000.00 (Indian Rupees Two Thousands only)

                                           (b) Foreign - USD 100.00 (US Dollar One Hundred only)

 

(4). Basic Membership (3 Years) :

​

Basic Members avail 50% reduction of the registration fees in the IACLSC international and national events and receive free print copy of the annual IACLSC Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies for three years. Basic Memberships are renewed after three years. Basic members may publish their research findings in the IACLSC Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies (IACLSCJIS) and IACLSC Journal of Narratives in Focus (IACLSCJNF) without any publication charges. Basic members are nominated to volunteer for the IACLSC.

Basic Membership Fee: (a) INDIA - INR 1000.00 (Indian Rupees One Thousand only)

                                       (b) Foreign - USD 50.00 (US Dollar Fifty only)

Criteria for the Grant of the IACLSC Membership:

​

Members of the International Association of Comparative Literature, Society and Culture are expected to display;

    

Interest in the interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary research in the arts, culture, design, ecology and environment,            humanities and social sciences studies.

Commitment towards the ecology and environment, society and culture, and civilization.

Quest for the democracy, global dialogue for the peace and social-cultural adjustment.

Tolerance towards the beliefs, cultural norms, faith(s), religious views and spirituality of the world.

Not biased by the caste, class, colour, gender, political and economic disparities by any means.
Believe in the global research networking and evolution of the classical and modern traditions so far.

Phenomenal active research and understandings of the value of the ethics, field work, documentation, writing and dissemination.

Forming of the research team, and sharing of the knowledge and experience.

Carry out research in the liberal arts, culture, ecology and environment, humanities, and social sciences for the good of      the  ecology, environment, culture and humankind.

Interest in the comparative and historical research methodologies.

There is no publication fee and eligibility for the submission of the articles to the IACLSC Journal of Interdisciplinary            Studies (IACLSCJIS) and IACLSC Journal of Narratives in Focus (IACLSCJNF) except authors may apply for the                membership of the International Association of Comparative Literature, Society and Culture (IACLSC) by submitting the      following documents in separate files by email at info.iaclsc@gmail.com only.

2). Sample Research Publication (one) in pdf, or Translation of a short story or two poems in English in pdf,                     or Collection of at least two Folk-tales/Songs translated into English in pdf.

3)  Passport Size Photograph in .jpg (minimum 300 dpi) format.

​

Formalities for the grant of the (a) life membership, (b) regular membership (5 years), and (c) basic membership (3 years) will be initiated after receiving the (i) Registration Form (ii) one Published Research Article/Essay/Interview/Travelogue etc., or Translation of one Short Story or two Poems into English, or Collection of at least two Folk-tales/Songs (translated into English), and (iii) a passport size photograph with high resolution (.jpg image) by email. All literature are required in the form of .pdf document attached separately with the ‘surname_name_year’ as the Subject of the email, . Upon scrutiny of the documents received and cross examining the research experiences the applicant will be granted the membership (Basic / Regular / Life )  on payment of the membership fee online.
